Dearest of Friends -

Today, as I returned to this world of wood and earth
from dreams, adventures in worlds of light
I sat in silence
I opened my heart
and listened for the whispers of the heart
with the ears of the heart
as it remembers with the deepest gratitude
the gift that life is

This day
I open myself to be
a channel for God's love
I surrender my humanity
and divinity
to that eternal source of love
the wellspring of the divine nectar
the Holy Spirit

If this were my last day
I would do the same

If this were a day of celebration
I would do the same

Days and details mean nothing
2011, 2012, 2049
I would do the same

I open my heart to the love from beyond the world of man
that is resident in the heart of all
and is the fiber
of each cell and dream

Each day is a gift
another opportunity to serve
to learn and unfold
to be love
